MARS' contribution to WAMS: World Atlas of Marine Stations

Among the missions of MARS are to increase the visibility of marine stations, their facilities and products, and the creation of a focus for global activities. Following these missions, although European in origin, MARS has taken the lead to install a dedicated website with a global perspective on the "World Atlas of Marine Stations" (WAMS). This summer the MARS secretariat started to fill the database for the WAMS website. The atlas will give insight in the location and facilities of affiliated marine stations along the world and can be used to plan trans(inter)national research activities.
The website will be launched soon. You can have a peek here.
