Since 2001 MARS regularly allocates a budget to support the mobility of early career scientist of MARS Member institutes. Young scientist can visit other MARS member institutes to carry out (part) of a research project at the host institute as a kind of short term sabbatical.

The fellowship can be used to cover the costs of:

• Travel and subsistence
• Use (rent) of equipment
• Use of consumables

Commercial bench fees and personnel costs are not eligible.

 A call for proposals for the fellowships will be announced at the website.
